In recent years CCVL has been promoting activities aimed at the senior public, which are prepared with special attention to the needs of this specific group.
Science communication with the senior community, despite being a huge challenge for the CCVL team, proved to be very motivating for both parties because in each activity presented, the participants were stimulated and very cooperative, in a very enriching environment .
Each activity, with a maximum duration of 120 minutes, is carried out by two monitors who travel to the place where the activities will be carried out. One of the monitors will always serve as the link and will be present in all sessions (unless unforeseen events occur).
The activities aim above all to involve and alert participants to both natural phenomena and others resulting from human action, contextualizing them from a scientific culture perspective, from the most common occurring everyday, to the most unique.
