Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year Exhibition

The Lagos Ciência Viva Science Centre opens on January 29, at 6 pm, the day of its 11th Anniversary, the Astrophotography Exhibition, Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year.

The exhibition consists of 40 award-winning photographs in the international competition promoted by the Royal Observatory Greenwich, from the United Kingdom, and an additional special selection of the more than 4,500 photographs submitted to the competition in 2016.

The Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year is the largest international competition of its kind, showing phenomenal photographs of the night sky and the universe, obtained by a global community of talented Astrophotographers and arrives at the Lagos Ciência Viva Science Centre as a result of a partnership with Exploratório - Centro Ciência Viva de Coimbra, organizer and producer of the exhibition and the Royal Observatory in Greenwich is the promoter of the contest.
